Does anyone have and good suggestions for repairing chips and gouges in laminate fl

You can buy repair kits. Never used one, but worth a try I guess.

Rip it all up and put down a proper wooden floor.

Ripping it up will be very physically demanding. Better to use tools.

Like the Irishman said you don't want to start from here. You can only really camouflage the problem. They are hard, coloured two pack fillers, make your own conclusions.
