Wagner 12V cordless drill

Howdy,

I have a Wagner 12V cordless that works fine except that the charger isn't working anymore. I contacted the company (what a run-around - don't get me started! Suffice it to say I won't be purchasing any more Wagner equipment!), and they told me that they don't support these tools anymore. If the machine was purchased less than 3 years ago - and you have a receipt proving it - you can return it for a refund. Otherwise you're out of luck - no parts, no info, no help, no service. The drill I have is past warranty. I have since opened up the charger and found that the problem seems to be simply a burnt out resistor. The resistor, however, is burnt badly enough that I cannot identify it's value ( the color coded rings). As I cannot get any info from the company - they supposedly don't have that information themselves (???) - and I can't find the info I need on the web (so far - I'm still looking), I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else had run across the same problem, or any other that required them to open the charger, and knew what the resistance value or color code of the larger or R2 resistor is supposed to be. Otherwise I may be stuck with a functioning drill and 2 good batteries that I can't use. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
