For any wrecker that's into bandsawn boxes, I just received a copy of "The Ultimate Band Saw Box Book" by Donna Menke.

Very impressive and some excellent design ideas. I think it's a good book for beginners or experienced woodworkers.

It's also available from Amazon. The book description is:

"What makes band saw boxes so wonderful? They don't require a shop full of expensive tools, they have unlimited design potential, and they're easy to make. For years, woodworker Donna Menke has researched every aspect of the process, accumulating a wealth of knowledge about band-saw use, safety precautions, construction, and finishing techniques. Here, she passes on those ideas and skills, explaining all the basics of selecting and handling the wood, cutting, sanding, fitting edges, gluing, making repairs, and giving the box a gorgeous surface treatment, such as carving or inlay. The breathtaking projects begin with an easy, no-fail Bangle Box, and include a mahogany Star Box, a Man in the Moon box with a segmented lid, and many others."

I think Donna should get the publisher top put exerpts from the book on Amazon.
