I've been looking into methods of raising and lowering a plunge router now for some time and I just wanted to share my experience with Router Technologies, makers of "The Router Raizer". First of all this product is amazing, works like a charm and fits a slew of plunge routers. I talked to Bob Jr. and this man knows his stuff. He did reviews for major woodworking magazines for years and now works for RT. Their website is a wealth of information and offers full instructions for each manufacturer, templates for mounting the router and other good reading. He spent a good deal of time with me on the phone explaining everything to me and telling me some interesting things about routers, bits and so on. Never once rushed me or tried to "get away". A great experience and a great product. For $89 it beats the hell out of the other alternatives for raising a router and its well made, easy to install. Just thought some of you may want to know.
