I know I can call Lee Valley and ask, but it's more fun to start here.
LV carries self cleaning blast gates in a 2" size. Most other sources for blast gates carry 2.5", not 2".
LV (and just about every "The 2" and 4" sizes are compatible with our 2 1/2" and 4" flexible hose (though the 2" requires a small overwrap of tape to improve hose fit)"
2.5" gates and 2.5" hose are pretty common for dust collection systems, yet LV sells 2" gates which need to be modified to work with their 2.5" hose.
Any idea why that might be? Are there specific applications for 2" gates that LV doesn't mention?
