i have the Bosch top-handle version (don't remember the model). i bought it about six or seven years ago for $150 at HD. i have used it to cut everything fron 3" thick oak to 1/2" steel. it is probably the most used handheld power tool i have (well, maybe i use the industrial drill a hair more). it was well worth the money.
