Hi, I am finishing an oak coffee table with Watco. It is solid oak. The top is laminated panels. I scraped and sanded it but it seems I missed a little glue on one joint. The oil won't penetrate this area and it is quite a bit lighter than the rest of the top. Is there a way to repair this? Can I sand it down again and re-apply some more oil and if so will it blend in well? Thanks for any advice you can pass along.
