What paint can I use on a "brass"-painted fire trim? The fire trim is new and came painted.
I'd like to use a reddish-orangeish colour that isn't bright red, and the only option seems to be Thermacure, but unfortunately I'm not getting much sense out of them. They are playing it safe and saying they can't say because they don't know the exact type of paint it would be going on top of. I'd also like the finish to be glossy.
The temperature of a fire trim probably doesn't go higher than 200?C.
