Those galvanised metal gutter brackets which have a horizonal spike into the mortar course of brickwork



They are used when there isn't a fascia board fitted, eg., barn conversions etc.

Don't know for those, but little spikes like that are "crampets".

Don't know what they're called elsewhere but here they're called "drive brackets"
