Just a few details added to help it get picked up by search engines, and hopefully with the links provided send them in the right direction...
ecoTEC pro 28 we have identified a potential component problem which can affect the seal around the heat exchanger in Vaillant ecoTEC boilers manufactured between February 2005 and March 2006. Under certain conditions the seal can prematurely degrade which could lead to plastic components within the boiler being damaged through overheating.
Tightening of the inlet gas connection during installation can in some circumstances cause the inlet manifold to leak gas when the boiler is running. If you have had one of these Glow-worm Micron boilers installed in your home between 25th October 2006 and 12th April 2007, please urgently call our free helpline on 0800 783 8554
