I've a Beko DCU 8230 tumble dryer, about 10 years old, tripping the RCD at or near the end of a cycle.
I replaced the mains interference filter on a recommendation about 5 years back after the same problem, and it's been fine since. I'm fine with replacing it again, but I don't understand why this happens at the end of a cycle. If it had failed wouldn't it happen on switch-on?
Any tips on what else I should be looking for? I keep the filters and condenser clear/clean. It's used no more than say 10 times a year.
