Cats are not collectivists. Have you heard the expression 'like trying to herd cats'? Each cat will want what the other has and, given some, will ignore it.
They have enough of that particular nutrient. My body is like that. One day is 'gimme chips!' the next day its 'Chips? Ugh!'

We need de-carbonised (?) steel for weaponry so we have to either buy it or produce it ourselves. Since we are beginning to realise we can't trust the yanks for instance we need to produce our own at whatever cost.
But it only needs to be "de-carbonised" if you slurp the Milliband koolaid.

Although energy production accounts for the larger part of fossil fuel consumption, manufacturing and the chemical industry is a large fraction. We currently make fertiliser from natural gas. Going net zero would probably starve half the world to death.
Smelting iron using e.g. nuclear made hydrogen would probably work, but steel still needs added carbon.
The fact that no one is addressing this at all shows that, like Greta, we have to ask 'if this is so important, why aren't they you something?'.
The answer is of course that its not important, and never was.
That's misses the point that we have nationalised British Steel for strategic reasons.
Dogs can be like this as well. A friend has found that with her dog it will eat the same brand of dog food (varied flavour/content each day) for around two weeks but then completely go off of it. Switch to another brand and the dog will eat heartily again for a week or so before going off if it. Switch back to the other brand and it's OK with that for a couple of weeks. In general the dog now gets a swap of flavours and 2/3 different brands on a daily basis. Sometime the same brand for a bit longer if purchased in bulk at a competitive price.
House special curry = anything unsold from the night before and anything returned to the kitchen :)
