I've been redecorating my bathroom and so far have painted the walls and layed laminates on the floor - but I am unsure about retiling.
The tiles are those standard ones they seem to fill newbuild houses with - magnolia with the odd floral one here and there. The tiles are basically one wall above the bath tub and have been advised that, since the walls are plasterboard, that ripping the old tiles off will cause much of the wall to come away also. I don't really want to go there so am wondering if anyone has any tips or experiences with tile paint, tiling over existing tiles or any other ways round a potentially troublesome retile.
