"standard" combi dimensions ?

Oct 21, 2005 1 Replies

I know approx "standard" size of appliance e.g. washing machines due to standard worktop heights etc. But what would be regarded as a standard size for combi boilers ? I have to leave space on the plans, and don't want to be limited to "compact" low-power units in the future. TIA, Simon.

There is no standard size like there is for kitchen appliances. If you allowed 500mm width, 800mm height and 400mm depth, then you will have a wide choice of boilers. There are compact boilers taking up much less space, but the choice is more limited.
