Scary monsters????? Why not just leav them alone?

This remind me of that fateful day my son (then about 4) lost faith in me. Picture the scene in our lounge, it went something like.

STWNFI. AGhhhh a spider kill it! Son. Daddy why is mummy scared of spiders? Me. I don't know the ones we get at home are harmless. I pick up spider and let it scutter around on my hand. Son. Can I hold it daddy? Me Of course. I pass it over. Son. Scream!!!! It bit me!!!

And sure enough his finger was bleeding...

Any port in a storm?

Its only a doorbell to us, its a small void and pretty sheltered etc, and usually has a good location to make webs from etc. I once found a little cluster of eggs wrapped in silk in mine, so they obviously use it for that as well. Another place they love seems to be garden lights, if there are any hollow plastic tubes they can get into... Brian
