Space Shuttle Grouting

Well, I actually experienced it. And it's not all in the Deitel book (note the correct spelling, Drivel). I have every edition of Deitel, including the withdrawn original first edition, and not all that detail is there.

Oh, and it was Multics, not Multix.

I remember all that.

And something like ..

#define seek() (short int)lseek() ;

once the 32 bit processors arrived...

being as how int was always to be the 'natural' length of a computer word in the architecture of the processor..

Other out of print OS books give even better details of then history. I have them in the garage buried somewhere never to be read again.

Same thing.

It doesn't go flat as the management system prevents that and the engine/genny recharges. Boy you really don't know do you. This is what happens being a System Admin man, as you are.

,

I wish Maxie, I wish.

What was that again?

Until the battery craps out and it costs megabucks to replace

Actually not. It's just one of my skills from a long and distinguished career. How many of Matt's cylinders did you sell this morning?

8 years guarantee, and ex[expected life of 12 years, so that means it could go for 15. The battery packs in 12 years will be a lot cheaper and the batteries far better. Then vroom.

Pull the other leg. The symptoms are there.

The only one.

I have more than you will ever have.

So, it was a MULTiple Interactive Xomputingsystem then?

Errm, you better read up some more Drivel. The 12v battery can and does, and it totally, and I mean TOTALLY ruins your day or more as a Prius owner. But not owning one yourself you can only repeat what's in the leaflets.

Still no mention from you confirming what you received from Toyota GB last year is there? Every Prius owner would know what I'm on about.

You mean the replacement winder key with the long crank so that women could also wind it up?
