Sorting the lawn out

Depends what you want from the lawn.

Right now I'm mowing around cowslips and primroses, and I have a few permanent markers where bee orchids grow.

Moss is resolved by raking. Moss likes damp areas, so if there's a way to reduce shading it would help.

Bare patches can be seeded - use something to keep birds from eating it. Small ones can be caused by high spots, a trowel can fix that.

Daisies, dandelions etc are pretty, why some folk dislike them I don't know. Dandelions are also edible & healthy.

Inconsistency can be reduced by lightly seeding.
