Shower Valve

I currently have a Mira 415 Pressure Balancing (not thermostatic) shower valve fed from a combi.

Planning a bathroom make-over. Would a pair of mixer taps with a diverter control be suitable or is there an advantace in retaining a separate shower valve?

It would do the job but from experience, you will experience fluctuations in temperature if someone opens a hot or cold tap whilst you're in the shower. If you install a separate thermostatic shower valve, the temperature will remain relatively constant.
