Well just got a new Stuart Turner 3 bar Monsoon on eBay for £285 delivered. Thanks to all for comments and suggestions. Hopefully this one will last!

The other impressive thing, now that it is installed, is just how quiet it is. Partly the good base mat, partly the decent impeller design.
