Interesting, thanks.
There's no wood in my photo, though. I was wondering whether I'd be able to paint the caulk white accurately without getting any on the window frame or the tiles (since different white things never exactly match, especially when paint overruns are involved!) *but* I just remembered that I normally use masking tape for caulking, so I ought to be able to reapply masking tape to the straight edges after the caulk dries in order to paint it.
