Do you remember when circuit breakers were invented, they said you could stick your finger in a light socket and not even feel it? I wonder if anyone tried.

Warm white is horrid. That's the dull yellowy rubbish you get from CFLs= and incandescents.

I've not had any LED bulb last very long (apart from dim nightlights). I stick to LED strip lights - intended to mimic a fluorescent tube. They have the LEDs spaced out more, so they don't overheat. If your bulb is too hot to touch, the LEDs won't last long.

I've got a few of those (BC), and one runs >12 hours a day - so more than 4000 hours so far.
