Sent this yesterday, but it didn't seem to arrive ......


+++++++++++++++++ I saw some MDF yesterday that looked 'normal' until I noticed the cut edge - only the two flat surfaces looked like MDF, the core of the material was a greenish grey colour. It seemed to be the same density and texture, but .......

Is this something special? The house owner didn't have a clue about it, and the builder doing the job wasn't around to ask ....

Have never seen the stuff, but I know the BS for MDF has two grades, MDF and MDFMR for the moisture resistant version. Could be that.

If you're having a bathroom fitted, it could be the special waterproof plasterboard the use.

Umm .. you mean some kind other than the 'medium density' variety thereof ?
