Just moved into a new place and getting the measure of the the jobs ;-)
One thing to do is site the washing machine in the outside toilet space. This'll involve removing the old (disgusting) toilet, and feeding a washing machine drain into the hole in the floor.
I assume a standard washing machine drain/trap will do the trick, and a shallow trench taking the pipe (set in concrete) into the main drain. Then somehow capping the main drain so the floor's sturdy and flush.
Any/all guidance welcome . . .
