Well, with the modern "hook" system it has been quite manageable, however, with the sides held together by little cam things rather than big self tappers and the whole cabinet hanging on two little "hooks" im looking at them nervously! I'm putting a couple of those screws you use for window frames down near the bottom to add a bit of extra stability but it doesnt seem as solid as the old rawlbolts the the previous ones were bolted to in all four corners, even if its easier.
I prefer to put a 2" x 1" batten the length of the wall. You can rest the cabinets on it, clamp them together etc. Getting just one thing level at the outset saves a lot of frigging about later, plus you have two hands free for drilling and fixing.
good idea but it would ruin my tiles! I'm looking at the back of the next one up, all the weight has to "pass through" two tiny bits of metal, presumably they can take the load but im adding whatever i can to reinforce them.
I can't imagine the weight that would be required to bend a size 8 screw but it's well in excess of whatever you're likely to store in a wall cupboard.

ahhhhhhhh! I ordered a drawer unit and the specified pack, which I assumed was the drawers, but its only the drawer fronts, theres tiny smal print with two **s to tell you theres a second pack with the drawer bodies. Oh well, at least they can do them by next Tuesday.
