Refilled CH System and gurggles

Folks,

I added a new rad to the CH system last year and one rad in particualr now always seems to get air into it. It is to the point that I need to bleed it every couple of days. That said, I also had to drain down my CH system recently to remove a rad while I did some plastering etc. and now it does seem to be a little worse that before and there is the sound of gurgling water. I presume then that this is not only residual air/gas in the refilled system, but that air is being drawn in somewhere. Nothing has changed from the boiler end as all the work was done downstairs, so I don't know that changing the pipework upstairs near the boiler would help. The question is how do you identify where the air is coming in? Is it a case of looking at all the joints etc. for leaks (I'm thinking it *may* be under the living room floor as that is the only join under the floor that would not show leaking)? When do you add Fernox? Looking through some of the responses they would suggest that I should not do it until I have definitively fixed the air problem.

Thoughts appreciated. Thanks Greg
