Readyshare redundant - deleting?

Network> Readysharegrnd I have a two Readyshares, Readyshare and Readyshare1. USB stick plugged into my ground floor Netgear router.

Readyshare is the valid one, with lots of files on it. Readyshare1 is no longer a valid one and I want to delete it, but how? It is a left over, from when I was trying to get Readyshare to work.

Googling I found no clues.

I'm not familiar with readyshare but looking online, I'd expect to be able to do most things via Netgear Genie web interface.

I assume your usb stick is the storage on which your readyshares reside. I'd make a copy of this first and then try just plugging it into a computer and editing the file structure from there.

Failing that try netgear support?

Bob Minchin was thinking very hard :

That was my first thought - the valid one only shows in that.

It seems to be a Win10 problem, Win10 saw the share when I was trying to work out how to set it up and now will not forget it.

There is no stick by that name now. Readyshare was changed to Readyshare1. The latter is the valid one.

I already searched their support and found nothing.

I think I might end up editing the Registry to remove it.

Any other computers (including NASes that might be running samba) in the house? one of them could be acting as subnet master browser and remembering it ...

No, none are running or have been running during or since I set this up a few weeks ago.
