If it's not two characters, it's not a two-character country code, and won't be being allowed through my firewall.

That's nice. It means that they can be left to create web pages and emails in Welsh and not bother the rest of us:-).

My guess is he has exceptions for everything in

and doesn't have exeptions for anything in #ICANN-era_generic_top-level_domains #Internationalized_generic_top-level_domains or #Geographic_top-level_domains (and that .wales and .cymru will be joining that Geographic section).

Which seems a fairly reasonable default setup.
