OT. Curious said Alice

About a month back I got 4 pages of legalish jargon notifying me that

*Elite Insurance Company Limited* was placed into administration by the Supreme Court of Gibraltar.

The only link I could have with this company is my house insurance purchased through Policy Expert at Milton Keynes.

More curiously I got an insurance renewal quote (expected) which is 23% lower than charged last year for the same cover.

Given they have my card details do I need to stop this proceeding. If so how?

Currently getting other quotes.

See what Policy Expert has to say on the matter. Check their web site or social media pages, or call them when the office is open.

Very wise to have a backup in place…

According to Google it went into administration in 2017:

The "Supreme Court of Gibraltar" eh? I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of that! :->

2019. PWC are handling it and have an FAQ:

Perhaps they can inform you why you might be a customer.
