OT: can someone check my figures?

A human exhales about a kg of CO2 a day. there are 7l billion humans alive

So they exhale around 7 megatonnes a day, or 2.5 giga tonnes a year. Fossil fuels generate 9 gigatonnes a year.

1/4 of the worlds population are Muslims.

the largest proportion of the worlds populations are communists and socialists.

So really the solution to climate change is....

Actual world population as at April 2017 is 7.5 billion, your calcs are overstaed by a factor of 10.

You are being extremely silly. I thin Ruminants are a big risk, but do you propose a cull of all those as well. In the end everything and all living stuff has an up and down side you cannot use your own prejudices to decide what matters. Brian

You really are being too kind to him! :)

Apart from your factor of ten out on the world's population, as pointed TS and AB, humans are carbon-neutral machines in that they ingest carbon-rich food, and burn it to produce CO2 and energy. They are thus 'green'. Which means you are a greenie! Shock, horror! TNP is actually a greenie! How can you live with yourself?

So do cars. So does that mean that cars are green? Yes? Phew, what a relief. I'll go out and buy a Humvee now, or possibly a second hand tank. Hmmm, yes, at least with the tank, there'll be no more of this pulling-over nonsense on the narrow lanes around here (you've all seen what happened to Mr Bean's Mini).

I asked you to check my fgures. Not my typing.

The calculations are correct for 7 billion

You intrerptred a spar 'l' as a '1' - not me.

No they're not and you know it. Cars consume fossil fuel; TNP consumes renewable fuel, although whether he had a taste for coal as a baby, as some babies do, I don't know.

but waht happens to all that carbon if it DOESNT get eaten

In time, of course it turns into coal.

So people are still net contributors to CO2!

I am sure you perfectly well know that the conditions for coal formation are rare or absent at the moment, and uneaten food is broken down by carrion eaters, scavengers and saprophytes to CO2 and minerals (plus or minus a bit of N2). Unless the council gets it, when I'm not sure what happens.

PS I'm including all kinds of anaerobic swamp under the generic "the council".

Judging by their content and spelling, most of TNP's posts are done in a state of apoplexy. If he used a spelling checker it would take hours before he got it all correct.
