You might be able to get it to work as an access point, but probably not a repeater.

(you may be able to bodge a *pair* of them however - with one as a client, one as an AP, an ethernet between them. Much depends on what the firmware lets you do, or if you can run open wrt or similar in place of the stock firmware).

My tp-link router can definitely be used in that way (it says).

If you can install an alternative firmware and it has a dual band radio (2.4 and 5GHz) you might be able to set up one radio as an access point, another as a client, and route between them.

You'd have to look up the specific model numbers to see what's available for your routers.

That depends on the firmware installed on the router and what that allows you to do with the router. In most cases, no.

Some routers can be updated with Open Source firmware, to do what you want.

I've done just that with the old router (Billion). Dunno about BT ones, though. But not wireless as such - it is cable fed.
