Notch in eyebrows

I often see males, sometimes crims on TV, with a bald notch cut into the hairs of the eyebrows. Is this some sort of fashion statement, or a sect indicator, or what exactly?

I think eyebrow slits are one of those things where the meaning is defined by the "wearer", so is meaningless to the viewer ...

LGBTQ+ badass tiktok who knows?

For the avoidance of doubt, if anybody spots me with a notch in my eyebrows, all it means is that things went a little bit awry with the comb and the scissors - nothing more.

David Beckham used to have them back in the dark days.

I always thought that this was a result of scar tissue from a removed eyebrow piercing. The eyebrow hair no longer grows there.

or perhaps scar tissue from a facial injury in the past. No doubt copied by some wanting to present a "hard man" image suggesting they must have been in lots of fights :-)

reddit: "It's called an eyebrow cut, and it's not associated with any particular sexuality, it's a fashion trend."

Not to worry then.
