I've just got one of these
I wasn't too sure about it at first but I think it'll be OK, the unique feature is that it has a mechanism where the end part hinges which serves to break off the furthest part of the blade rather than it having to be done manually using pliers or whatever. Once the end bit has broken off it remains in place (rather than flying off) as there's a magnet to hold it.
I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this model.
My older Stanley knife that takes snap-off blades has quite a clever mechanism where the ends of the two sides that make up the knife lock together to grip the blade. This new one doesn't do that, so I'm not sure if that'll be a problem.
I tried to find some blades for it online and found that they're not easy to get hold of, or they're quite expensive - but a trip to my local hardware shop revealed packs of ten blades for about 80p which is far better than the £4.70 you'd pay on Amazon for a pack of five Stanley branded ones.
