New Hep2o

I see that the hep20 range has changed recently.

4th generation now. It's all white fittings and pipe now. Seems to work as well as before.

They have boxes of free new-style de-mounting tools at the plumber's merhants, they hand them out when you buy new fittings. Be sure to grab a couple if you're getting new fittings.

Inserts etc compatable with previous system, but the new insterts are castelated to give a more positive indication of full insertion.

Looks snazzy and I like the metal inserts with the barb to hold in the pipe and wobbly ends so you get a feel for when the pipe's fully inserted into the fitting. But you *have* to have the demounting tool to undo the joint (they bill it as a feature), you simply physically can't demount a fitting if it's right up against another fitting or, say a hole through which the pipe passes (because you haven't got room to get the demounting tool onto the pipe) and you still can't disassemble the fittings to get them apart as you can with Speedfit, so I won't be changing from that.
