Hi,
I'm refurbishing a room an it would be nice to fit a thermostatic and isolating valves, these will be new. The radiator however is old the "22mm" pipe feeding this part of the house is really 3/4", found that out the hard way. B-) So if there is such a thing as an "imperial" radiator I'm bound to have one.
So will the tail from the "new" valve fit and seal in the "old" radiator? Time is limited and I don't want to mess with draining down etc if it ain't going to work by the normal, quick, fitting methods.
