Metal backbox connectors for a row of single sockets

Has anyone used these metal connectors for joiningmetal backbox connectors to make it easier to have arow of single sockets exactly inline ?.'m sure it used to be possible to buy brass threaded 20mm connectorsto do this, a bit like the 20mm end connectors for round plasticconduit that screw into a knowckout, but I can't find them anymore.

Apparently Barmans in Worthing stock them, so I'll get a pack and report back

I can think of an improvement on that design. If there was a pair of support rails, wide enough to support one egg lengthways, and spiralled up like that, then every time you removed an egg from the bottom, the others would all gently roll down the spiral to take up the empty space. A bit like a helter-skelter for eggs.
