I'd really like to install a security floodlight that makes a noise of some kind while it is lit. I don't want anything as loud as a burglar alarm siren - just something that you could hear if you were indoors, or in the house next door. I don't want to wake the neighbourhood up every time the local cat comes prowling.
Has anyone seen such an item for sale anywhere?
A 12v, solar-charged device would be ideal. Otherwise, a mains powered item would be a second choice.
If there's nothing readily available, I'll perhaps have a go at lashing something tegether myself, if someone could cindly suggest a suitable bleeping component, say from Maplin or whatever. (12v and/or 240v)
