And your buildings need insulated pipes running everywhere.
Where I used to live (Dundee, Scotland) there was a furnace for burning rubbish. Never noticed the smell above the leaking gas from the gas storage towers.
Probably more to do with morons thinking it's dangerous to be next to one.
