Looking for secure hooks to hang on 28mm railing

I've wasted a long time searching for these to no avail.

I'm after some clips to allow me to hang straps (i.e. about 1" wide nylon straps or similar) from a 28mm diameter steel pipe.

I don't want to put the straps directly round the pipe because they tend to pull tight and make dirt accumulate. I want clips that can easily be moved around but won't fall off easily.

This sort of thing:-

... but I'd like it to clip onto the pipe a bit more securely if possible.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.

Have you considered curtain rings? These come in various finishes and diameters, including 28mm.

It depends a bit on how you want to hang the straps, but it should be fairly straightforward. Either screw the strap directly to the small ring (which normally takes a curtain hook), or use an "S" hook which will fit through the hole.

Ah, that's why I said clips, the pipes don't have accessible ends so things can't be threaded onto them.

Using an S-hook gets back to the "won't fall off easily" bit, I think they would be too easy to remove.

The hooks in the Amazon link look as though they might be easy to secure with a cable tie through the loop of the end of the hook.
