What's the best reatment for veneered furniture if it be kept in a centrally heated room?
If it's old, the glue will be water solvent/heat meltable & French polished. Keep dry and wax polished to keep moisture out. Don't put wet/hot objects on tables. Always use coasters/placemats. Keep out of direct sunlight. (UV bleaches veneers & destroys French polish.) Don't put next to radiators.
Don't get the edges too hot, I'd imagine. Brian
