LES lamp

Hi All,

I have a lamp stand which uses several LES lamps as in the picture here:

need some spares, but the only ones I can find are 16mm long which for the application, is a little long.

I'm not asking someone to do a Google for me - I've had a good look myself for 14mm long LES lamps, but with no joy. So, has anyone obtained a lamp such as this and if so, where would I get some from?

It looks to be a reasonably standard bulb of the type once available from Woolies and all good bike shops. These days I'd suggest RS Components, if you can spare an arm and a leg.

Hi, thanks for the reply. That's what I thought and RS, Farnell, Maplin etc all stock LES lamps, but all >=16mm - it's just a little bit long, but it looks like I don't have a lot of choice.

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately, they only appear to stock the 16mm types - the ones in my lamp must be specials - trust other half to choose a lamp with non-replaceable consumables!

I'll have to make do with the 16mm - it's actually the glass part that's longer rather than the screw, so it's not too bad - at least the screw recesses fully.
