I'm trying to make this oldish Lenovo tablet convertible laptop work with Windows 8.
It uses a pen for input in tablet mode and nearly works well, except that there is a narrow gap into which I can get my thumbnail all around between the screen and where it is rebated into the screen bezel. This means that when doing the stupid Win 8 gestures from the screen corners and sides, the pen with its thin "nib" catches on the edge of the screen.
I've fleabayed a job lot of bezels and the 3 with screens still attached all have a similar, although slightly smaller, gap.
So I need to find something that can be squirted into the gap (syringe?) and will then harden with a smooth surface that will feel like the screen or bezel under the pen. It needs to be permanent and, ideally, clear. The screen itself doesn't get hot, but there is some heat from the laptop base when it is folded down.
I can practice on or swap to one of the spare bezels. Any suggestions of what I could pipe in gratefully welcomed.
