Is there a web site any where that gives instructions on how to use a jig and router for joining kitchen worktops

Unfortunately all worktop jigs have different setup procedures. You should have good instructions with your jig otherwise you are on a loser before you start.

If its just the process of using the router then just ask and we can give specific advice on that for cutting worktops. It also depends whether its a U shape or L shape that you are undertaking. A U shaped kitchen is quite a bit more complex, and requires an even greater degree of accuracy than an L shape.

If you want to talk it over before hand then feel free to call me.

You will require a good quality set of clamps to locate the jig ,a cheap set are likely to move during routing and screw the job up.

Would recommend that you go along to kitchen manufacturer and ask for some off cuts of worktop to practise with.
