Installing thermostatic mixer shower- please help

Sep 23, 2003 1 Replies

Hi,

I am planning to install a thermostatic mixer shower.

I have a combi boiler.

Is it advisable to make a T-joint in the hot and cold water filler for the bath and take the connection to the mixer valve ?

If the above is not right, then could anyone advise how the cold and hot supply to the mixer valve be taken ?

Should be fine. Ensure that hot and cold supplies are at the same pressure, presumably mains if you have a combi.
