Watched the first "fly on the wall" programme last night: better than I expected.

What I found totally astonishing was that, having decided to commission a new bed/sofa or whatever you decide to describe it as, they decided to go for the lower fire spec required for sofas, rather than the highest ones required for beds.

Bet they regretted letting the cameras in, after that came out. Seems the company has developed a mind-set of invincibility.

That was from 2010, so things have probably changed since then.

My impression from the programme was that they now sell identical products worldwide. In this case, they found they eventually met all the standards except the American ones, and they had the dilemma of whether or not to have a single global launch. Which they did, in the end, after the final material change.

IK think you will find Bristol, Liverpool and London benefitted considerably from slave labour too.

How much have they spent researching the practice?

Does the Mail still have Fred Bassett, or is it all garbage now?
