My HP4500 has decided to play up. Unusually not the printing side, but the scanning side.
When it's powered on and goes through it's check cycle a *horrid* noise comes out of it - clearly misaligned gears or something.
Beyond dropping the front panel, and opening the ADF, there's no obvious way in further to try and locate WTF is happening.
Just wondered if anyone had opened one and has some tips ?
