Bought a new TV. Old one had the inputs etc in a recess pointing down.New one - not a big choice in the size I wanted - has them to the sidepointing outwards. Exactly the wrong direction the cables need to go.So to keep things tidy, I wanted to reverse the direction the cables went.Things like HDMI leads ain't very flexible - and the existing cables nearenough the right length. The next size up - to allow an easy bend - fartoo long.So two right angle adaptors would do this nicely.But, of course, HDMI connectors ain't symmetrical. So some on Ebaydescribe them as 90 or 270. But all you have to go on is the picture theyshow. The most common ones shown have the flat on the connector to the outsideof the angle. And most are advertised as 90. Found a pic where the flatwas to the inside, so ordered them up. Despite saying UK stock, took 3weeks. And were wrong. Another supplier is selling one of each as a packof two. So ordered them up. Wonder what I'll get this time?Times like this I miss Maplin. Where you could see before buying at yourlocal shop.

Considering how many clicks in a mouse's life most do pretty well. Anything mechanical wears out eventually.

I have a pal who is a graphic designer. He has a favourite mouse - pretty old now, but top of the range when new. I've replaced the switches a couple of times.

Just replaced a logitech wireless mouse because - yup - left mouse button got intermittent

But these are the cheapest and nastiest micro switches and can certainly be done better. Particular with Logitech mice which aren't cheap and are brilliant in other respects, particularly working fine even on glass and with very long times between battery changes.

But it would be better if you didn't have to.
