Hi - the bearings in the upper bandwheel of my old Startrite 342 bandsaw are finally insisting they be replaced.
Came out reasonably easily, they measure:
Inside - 15.8mm, 5/8"
Outside - 34.9mm, 1-3/8"
Diameter - 8.7mm, 11/32"
However, I can't find them in manufacturers tables. It seems 9/32" features with the correct i/d& o/d - but not 11/32". (the slimmer bearing would be a poor fit,but I'm willing to try shiming out with washers if necessary)
The bearings are marked: IKS, JAPAN and 7R10 and sealed with metal shields.
Can anyone suggest a source for these? Are they (or were they) a common size?
