my heating control system is (acl life style lp241).while hot water switch on in control panel heating system is also getting hot.i would like to know is it the problem for mid position valve or control system or thermostat.

It could be any of those things - but the most *likely* cause is that the
3-port valve is stuck in the mid position. Remove the actuator from the valve, and make sure that the valve spindle turns freely. If it doesn't, the actuators spring return won't be able to move the valve back to the HW-only position.Join the Discussion
