And the *total* physical imports and exports over all those links every

I allocate them in proportion to the countries commercial rates pre booked, so if the exports rise beyond the commercially booked rates so to do the indicated figures.

What that means therefore is that someone somewhere is pulling more power than they booked. And some of it gets allocated to the UK. even though its not actually flowing.

If I get time I'll subtract the actual UK figure from the total and work the approximations on what's left.

But I'm too tired to do that tonight.

A suggestion for the UK page. I have often thought it would be useful to have the coal, nuclear, CCGT & wind on the same scale, 0 to 25, which would allow a very easy like for like comparison.

France uses cheap nuclear electricity, not gas, for heating;-)

In the seventies I saw some TV commercials that mentioned some food products (obviously must have been radioactive) that gave the consumer a clearly defined orange glow outline while walking down a cold street.

In the eighties they must have stripped out the nuclear material, replaced it with tartrazine and formulated the product as a fizzy orange drink. The benefit to the user is still that orange glow with a faster heart beat.
