Several years ago, we reskimmed and painted the living room. The original plan was to get rid of the carpet and do something to the floor- either sand+varnish, paint, or laminate. So not much care was taken over protecting the carpet.
The carpet is still there and has areas of paint splatter. We've had a big rug over them so far but now we want to ditch the rug. But ditching the carpet still isn't practical, and generally the carpet isn't too bad. I just need to get rid of the splodges of yellow paint on grey carpet.
Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? I'm not wonderfully optimistic, but it's always worth a try. I can't simply shave the paint off the top as its's sunk in.
